### **About Tsa Tsa**
Tsa Tsa (Tibetan: ཚ་ཚ་) are small clay sculptures created using metal molds, a tradition rooted in Tibetan Buddhism. Originating in India and introduced to Tibet in the 7th century, Tsa Tsa are made by pressing clay mixed with sacred materials like wheat grains, treasure powder, spices, or monk's ashes into molds.

Early Tsa Tsa featured Indian-style patterns, such as stupas, pagodas, and mantras. Over time, Tibetan artisans began creating molds with images of deities and the six-character mantra, reflecting their unique cultural heritage.

Tsa Tsa are often placed in stupas, temple halls, mani piles, or special "Tsa Tsa kang" (Tsa Tsa houses) as offerings or for spiritual protection.
