❤Über Vajra und Glocke im tanrischen Buddhismus
Im tantrischen Buddhismus repräsentiert die Glocke das Weibliche und das Dorje das Männliche, oder das Dorje repräsentiert einen Blitz und die Glocke einen Diamanten. Bei buddhistischen Zeremonien in Tibet werden Glocke und Dorje immer zusammen verwendet. Mit dem Dorje kann die Glocke angeschlagen werden.

Die Glocke wird in der linken Hand gehalten und das Zepter in der rechten, während beide Hände anmutig in vorgeschriebenen Gesten bewegt werden, die als Kommentar zur Rezitation dienen. Als Paar spiegeln sie die beiden Aspekte der buddhistischen Praxis wider: Methode und Weisheit, Intuition und Mitgefühl.
