Ushnishavijaya Thangka — the Buddha of Longevity and Purification

Ushnishavijaya (Tibetan: Tsugtor Namgyalma) is one of the Three Longevity Deities of Tibetan Buddhism, alongside Amitayus and White Tara. Her name means “Victorious Crown Protrusion” — she is invoked for the purification of negative karma, the extension of life, and liberation from lower rebirths. Uniquely powerful among longevity deities, her dharani is said to purify the karma of those who merely hear it, and her thangka is traditionally commissioned for long-life pujas, birthday offerings, and the recovery of the seriously ill.
