❤Diese Manjusri-Statue wurde aus dem Kloster Samye, dem ersten Kloster in Tibet und wichtigen Nyingma-Kloster, gesammelt.
Es handelt sich um eine altmodische Manjusri-Statue, etwa 60 Jahre alt und aus Thokcha.
Manjusri ist ein Bodhisattva, der im Mahayana-Buddhismus mit Prajna (Erkenntnis) in Verbindung gebracht wird. Im tibetischen Buddhismus ist er auch ein Yidam. Sein Name bedeutet auf Sanskrit „sanfte Herrlichkeit“.

❤ÜBER Manjusri
Manjusri ist ein Bodhisattva, der im Mahayana-Buddhismus mit Prajna (Erkenntnis) in Verbindung gebracht wird. Im tibetischen Buddhismus ist er auch ein Yidam. Sein Name bedeutet auf Sanskrit „sanfte Herrlichkeit“.
Manjusri wird als männlicher Bodhisattva dargestellt, der in seiner rechten Hand ein flammendes Schwert schwingt, das die Verwirklichung transzendenter Weisheit symbolisiert, die Unwissenheit und Dualität bekämpft. Die Schrift, die von dem Padma (Lotus) in seiner linken Hand gestützt wird, ist ein Prajnaparamita-Sutra, das seine Erlangung der ultimativen Verwirklichung durch die Entfaltung der Weisheit symbolisiert. Manjusri wird oft dargestellt, wie er auf einem blauen Löwen reitet oder auf dem Fell eines Löwen sitzt. Dies symbolisiert die Verwendung von Weisheit, um den Geist zu zähmen, was mit dem Reiten oder Bezwingen eines wilden Löwen verglichen wird.
