❤Dieser Vajra-Hammer wurde in den 1990er Jahren von tibetischen Handwerkern aus Tibet in Handarbeit hergestellt, in der Stadt Hepo im Kreis Baiyu, dem Geburtsort des berühmten tibetischen Kunsthandwerks.
Es handelt sich um ein rituelles Dharma-Gerät, das aus einem Kupferkörper und einem Kopf aus kaltem Eisen besteht.

❤ÜBER Vajra Hammer
Ein Vajra-Hammer (skt. vajramudgara, Tbt. dorjey towa) symbolisiert die unerbittliche Wirksamkeit kritischer Weisheit, Unwissenheit und Illusion zu zerschlagen. In buddhistischen Skulpturen und Gemälden wird der Hammer oft von zahlreichen Gottheiten und Dharma-Beschützern getragen und von der Priesterschaft in esoterischen Ritualen verwendet. Er wird beispielsweise in der Reinigungszeremonie verwendet, die einer Kalachaka-Initiation vorausgeht.
