This rare hand-held wrist mala was acquired from Kathok Monastery in the Kham region of Tibet and is approximately 40 years old.

Originally part of a longer necklace mala (not a full 108-bead strand), it has been worn smooth over decades of devout chanting, developing a rich, jade-like patina and a deep, lustrous texture.

The bracelet features:
28 aged lotus seed beads (dark brown,blessed by lama)
1 natural amber main bead
2 red tiger tooth dzi beads (protective symbols)
1 pair of floral silver counting beads (traditional Tibetan craftsmanship)
1 turquoise guru bead & a carved agate Buddha pendant
