❤ABOUT THIS BADGE
The main diagram has two main components (from inner to outer):
1.The image of six Symbols of longevity are of Chinese origin but appears often in Tibetan art. The senior citizen of long life is Shou-lao, the ancient Chinese God of Longevity. As Buddhism became prominent the senior citizen came to represent the contemplative sage who manifests the qualities of Amitayus (the God of Long Life). The sage holds a crystal rosary symbolising continuity and purity. The tree of longevity under which the old man sits is the divine peach tree imbued with many medicinal qualities. The conch shell shaped immutable rock of longevity has beneficial geomantic properties. The stream of longevity springs forth from the rock. Its pure water is the Nectar of Immortality which is contained in the vase held by Amitayus. The cranes, believed to live long lives, are ancient Chinese longevity symbols. A pair of cranes symbolise happiness and fidelity. It is said that deer is the only creature capable of locating the plant of immortality. In this drawing, the sage feeds a piece of the plant of immortality to the deer at his feet. The image symbolises the natural harmony of the recluse, who, is untroubled by the cares of the world, lives a long life of contentment, peace and natural wealth.

2. The outer circle, are treasures of Buddhism, astamangala--Groupings of eight auspicious symbols included: throne, swastika, handprint, hooked knot, vase of jewels, water libation flask, pair of fishes, lidded bowl. In Buddhism, these eight symbols of good fortune represent the offerings made by the gods to Shakyamuni Buddha immediately after he gained enlightenment.
