Antique Tibetan Buddhist Prayer Bead Bracelet (Mala Wrist Rosary)

This rare hand-held wrist mala was acquired from Kathok Monastery in the Kham region of Tibet and is approximately 40-60 years old,it has been worn smooth over decades of devout chanting, developing a rich, jade-like patina and a deep, lustrous and natural weathering texture.

It's originally part of a longer necklace mala (not a full 108-bead strand,so made into 3 handheld mala).

1 main bead - gaint shell carved OM letter bead:14mm
2 turquoise beads:10mm
1 conch shell guru bead:13mm

1 pair of silver vajra bell bead counters (traditional Tibetan craftsmanship)
6 silver spacer beads
