How to Use Guru Beads

Thread your mala cord through the vertical hole of the Guru Bead, then pass the tassel cord through the two horizontal holes to secure it in place. The Guru Bead marks the beginning and end of each 108-bead circuit — when your thumb reaches it during mantra recitation, reverse direction without crossing over it. Pair with matching Spacer Beads and a Counter Clip to complete your mala.
