Esta estupa de cristal fue tallada a mano por artesanos tibetanos del Tíbet en la década de 1990, cumplió con las consagraciones y fue bendecida en el monasterio de Kathok.

ACERCA DE STUPA
Una estupa (sánscrito: स्तूप, lit. 'montón', IAST: stūpa) es una estructura similar a un montículo o hemisférica que contiene reliquias (como śarīra, típicamente los restos de monjes o monjas budistas) que se utiliza como lugar de meditación. Un término arquitectónico relacionado es chaitya, que es una sala de oración o templo que contiene una estupa.

En el budismo, la circunvalación o pradakhshina ha sido un ritual y una práctica devocional importante desde los tiempos más remotos, y las stupas siempre tienen un camino pradakhshina a su alrededor.
