❤ ACERCA DE VAJRAPANI
Vajrapani (del sánscrito: "Vajra en [su] mano") es uno de los primeros bodhisattvas que aparecieron en el budismo Mahayana. Es el protector y guía de Gautama Buda y se elevó para simbolizar el poder del Buda.

Vajrapāni está ampliamente representado en la iconografía budista como una de las tres primeras deidades protectoras o bodhisattvas que rodean al Buda. Cada una de ellas simboliza una de las virtudes del Buda: Manjushri manifiesta toda la sabiduría de los Budas, Avalokiteśvara manifiesta la inmensa compasión de todos los Budas y Vajrapāni protege al Buda y manifiesta todo el poder de los Budas, así como el poder de los cinco tathāgatas (Budeidad del rango de Buda).
