❤ACERCA DE Damuru – Tambor ritual
En el budismo tibetano, el damaru se utiliza como instrumento en las prácticas de meditación.
El Damaru o Damaru es un pequeño tambor con dos parches, predominante en el budismo tibetano y la cultura hindú. En muchas partes del subcontinente de la India, este Damaru es bastante conocido. Se considera un tambor de poder y, si se cree, emana energía espiritual cuando se toca. Tiene una asociación mitológica con el dios Shiva. Algunas personas también creen que el lenguaje sánscrito se identificó con los ritmos del Damaru y con la actuación de Shiva en la forma de danza cósmica Tandav. Debido al pequeño tamaño del Damaru, lo utilizan muchos músicos de todos los géneros.
El Damaru tiene forma de escudo y en él hay una forma triangular hacia arriba, que simboliza el lingam masculino o la procreatividad, mientras que la forma redondeada que apunta hacia abajo muestra el yoni femenino o la procreatividad. Como significado simbólico de esta forma, el comienzo del mundo ocurre cuando se produce el encuentro del yoni y el lingam en el punto medio, mientras que su separación conduce a la destrucción.
