lack systematic and complete visual documentation.
By chance,
we came across a photo album titled
*TIBET TODAY*,
published in 1974 by Beijing Foreign Languages Press.

The album contains a wealth of
natural and cultural imagery from 1970s Tibet—
from the Himalayan jungles to the northern grasslands,
the slowly westward-flowing Yarlung Tsangpo River,
and
those fading faces of the past.
