Gandhanra Acient Tibetan Inkwell,Mini Copper Jar with Lid,Ink pot,Ink Bottle, 100 years old

❤This old inkwell was collected in the Dana monastery, Yushu, long time ago, and it has been passed down for about 4 generations,over 100 years,Lamas used it to store ink and write scriptures.
You can see that its whole body is full of traces of the years.

❤It is a traditional Tibetan style inkwell, hand cast in brass and silver.
The cap is inlaid with a wooden stopper to prevent ink from spilling and to stir when mixing ink sticks with water,it can also be used as a pen when you need mark something.

❤The shape of the bottle comes from Tibetan Bell,Ghanta,
Ghanta (Sanskrit: घण्टा, IAST: ghaṇṭā; Tibetan: drilbu) is the Sanskrit term for a ritual bell used in Hinduistic religious practices. The ringing of the bell produces what is regarded as an auspicious sound. Hindu temples generally have one metal bell hanging at the entrance and devotees ring the bell while entering the temple which is an essential part in preparation of having a darshan.A bell is also rung by poojari during Pūjā or Yajna – during the waving of light, burning of incense in front of the deity, while bathing the deity and while offering food or flowers.There are bells specially made to produce the long strains of the sound Aum.
