Gandhanra Antique 108 Lotus Beads Mala with Silver Cunters,Old Prayer Beads Necklace

?This mala is made by Tibetan craftsmen and come from Hepo Town, Baiyu County,Tibet, the birthplace of the famous Tibetan handicrafts,about 50 years old,blessed by a lama in Baiyu Monastery.

It is composed of 108 lotus beads, and is equipped with 3 yak bone amulet beads, bead counters are installed on both sides (the pendant are dorje and vajra), and finally consists of a yak bone guru bead and a vajra ending, very elegant.

? Handmade 108 bodhi beads approximately 8mm,Mala'perimeter is about 42cm,16.5inches
?1 pair of silver bead counters,a length of 10cm and a diameter of 4mm, with 1 set of vajra bell pendant
?3 yak bone spacer bead diameter of 11-13mm
?1 yak bone guru bead length of 28mm, carved mantra dot.
?1 silver vajra amulet bead pendant at the end,length 24mm.

?Malas are used all over by the Buddhists around the world especially they are used in Tibet, Nepal and India.
You will always see the monks as well as lay people using them while walking around the stupas or temples or monasteries.
A Mala is usually used for prostrations, counting mantras, Meditation and so on.
It is worn on left wrist while not in use.
